Sunday School
2010 Summer Sunday School
During the 2010 Summer, there will be Sunday School classes for five Sundays: July 11, 18, and 25, and August 1 and 8. There will be two classes for adults, and one class for children. Classes will begin following the 9:30 AM service.
Sunday School (September - May)
Sunday School classes are held for all ages from 2 years old up each Sunday from 9:35 - 10:35 AM, during the “academic” year, September through May. For those younger than 2, nursery care is provided (in room 113 of the nursery wing).
The following are the classes for children and youth:
- 2- and 3-Year Olds – room 110, nursery wing
- Pre-Kindergarten – room 203-05, education wing
- Kindergarten – room 209, education wing
- Grade 1 – Grades 1-5 each has its own area in Lower Fellowship Hall
- Grade 2
- Grade 3
- Grade 4
- Grade 5
- Junior Highs (Grades 6 and 7 together) (at the Youth Center)
- Confirmation Class (Grade 8) (room 204-06-08, education wing)
- Senior Highs (Grades 9-12) (at the Youth Center)
There are currently four adult Sunday School classes.
- An Adult Topics class features different speakers each week on a wide variety of topics, from current events and denominational issues to mission causes and occasional Bible studies.
- A New Testament class features in-depth studies of various New Testament books.
- An Adult Bible Study class looks at books from both the Old and New Testaments.
- Bible Study for Dummies, our newest adult class, is for those adults who prefer a more relaxed approach to Bible study.
