Community Garden

MPC Community Garden

This was the third season for our MPC Community Garden.  It is located on Keller Street between the Youth Center and the house on the corner.  The produce from the garden was taken to New Hope Ministries and other food pantries.  This year we planted tomatoes, peppers, broccoli, onions, and swiss chard.  The garden was tended and vegetables harvested by members of our church.

Thanks to everyone who participated and contributed to the Community Garden this summer. We grew over 120 pounds of fresh produce that went to New Hope Ministry families. Over 40 people chipped in to grow fresh tomatoes, onions, peppers, broccoli and swiss chard. What a way to share God's blessing with our community!
