Healer God,

We pray for all those who have been injured by war and violence, whether their wounds are physical, mental, or spiritual. Soothe the pain that lingers in bodies, hearts, and minds, and touch the places that need healing. May your gentle presence be a source of comfort and security, bringing peace to turmoil outside and within.

We pray for those who mourn for loved ones who have died from injuries of war. It is impossible to come up with the right words to offer parents who weep for the children they can no longer hold and to children who grieve for parents whose lives were cut short. Instead, we offer our silence as solidarity and as a sacred space for all who mourn.

We pray for peace.
