about OUR choirs

The old model of choir membership must change. There will always be choir members who show up every Wednesday, and then show up every Sunday, because that is what they do. Praise God for them. All are welcome to sing in the choir, all means all. In the modern day choir, one in which we need members to join our ranks more than ever, the rules have changed.

You are welcome to join the choir even if:

✔️  You can’t make rehearsal, but you can sing on Sunday. Do you read music or have significant choir experience? This membership category is for you and we welcome you to join our ranks.  Besides, the ½ hour before worship that we gather is still a rehearsal, too!

✔️ You travel to Florida for the winter. Okay, so you’re gone for three months. No worries, you are still welcome.

✔️ You attend the 8:15 worship service and like that. Great! Our choir sings about six 8:15’s a year. You would be welcome to join us on those six Sundays!

✔️ You only want to sing with the choir on Christmas Eve, and are willing to participate in a few rehearsals leading up to the holiday. Same goes for Easter, too. You’re not a superstar singer? You are not incredibly talented but you love to sing? Yes! You are welcome!

✔️ You can only make one rehearsal, and one Sunday per month. We could use you on that one Sunday you are available! You can only sing two Sundays per month? Sure!
