old model of choir membership must change. There will always be choir
members who show up every Wednesday, and then show up every Sunday,
because that is what they do. Praise God for them. All are welcome to
sing in the choir, all means all. In the modern day choir, one in which
we need members to join our ranks more than ever, the rules have
can’t make rehearsal, but you can sing on Sunday. Do you read music or
have significant choir experience? This membership category is for you
and I welcome you to join our ranks. Besides, the ½ hour before worship
that we gather is still a rehearsal, too!
You travel to Florida for the winter. Okay, so you’re gone for three months. No worries, you are still welcome.
attend the 8:15 worship service and like that. Great! Our choir sings
about six 8:15’s a year. You would be welcome to join us on those six

participate in a few rehearsals leading up to the holiday. And how! I

superstar singer? You are not incredibly talented? But you love to sing?

is for children in kindergarten through 5th grades. The Choir is directed by the awesome Kelli Fry and the amazing Carrie Allio. They sing monthly in Worship Service throughout the school year. Rehearsals are Sunday mornings at 9 – 9:30 AM in the Choir Room during the school year.
directed by the fantastic Eileen House, is for Middle and High school students. Rehearsals are to be determined.

is for high school and college students, and above. These choir members
sing in either the 8:15 or 11 AM worship service every Sunday,
September through May.Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings from 7:00-8:30 PM in the Choir Room.High school students are
especially encouraged to join. I know firsthand the benefits of singing
in a church choir while attending high school. The most talented
musicians I knew in my high school choir also sang in their church choir
on the weekends!
Directed by the marvelous Eileen House, is an adult handbell choir. They play monthly September through May. Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings from 6:00-7:00 PM in the Conference Room. If
you wish to join this ensemble, and have no prior ringing experience,
Eileen will set up personal lessons with you so that you might become
acclimated to bell ringing!
