Alpha and Omega God,

There are so many throughout the world that have been placed in a position to make a choice for peace. And yet hearts have been hardened.

Soften the hearts of those in leadership. Give them the strength and courage to choose a path of peace even when - especially when - it is the path less traveled. Help them to see the humanity in one another. And when they see the “enemy” - may they see YOU.

May leaders throughout the world acknowledge that you are their refuge and fortress. May they trust in your provision and plan for the world, and let go of selfishness   and grabs for power that lead to war.

We pray for peace.
