When you feel threatened, how do you respond? Are you more likely to retreat or fight back?

Prayer:
Prince of Peace, the journey to the cross is difficult to follow. How much harder it must have been for you to walk it. There, in the eye of the storm, you stood firm—not running from your fate, not fighting back, not even blaming those who betrayed and abandoned you. I want that kind of strength to remain firm in my convictions without ever resorting to violence. Give me the courage to embody peace in a violent world. Amen.
